Give A Homeless Dog A Foster Care

Not ready to adopt a dog? You can still give a homeless, abandoned, or shelter dog a foster home.
You can welcome a homeless dog into your home and give it the compassionate care it deserves until the dog is adopted.
Fostering a dog is a rich and rewarding experience for everyone involved (you, the dog, and us). When you foster a ROLDA dog you are:

  • Making room in our shelter for another rescued dog;
  • Caring for a dog in need until it’s ready for adoption;
  • Helping ROLDA learn more about the dog so we can find it the best home possible;
  • Helping the dog adapt to a home and social environment.

At ROLDA, we have 700 dogs waiting to be adopted. Sadly, there are 20,000 homeless dogs near our shelters and 2.5 million across Romania waiting to be rescued.

When you foster a dog, you are making room in our shelters for another street dog … and giving it a chance to be adopted one day.

When you become a ROLDA dog foster parent … you save 2 lives!
We believe more of our dogs can find great foster homes in Germany. Can we count on you to help a dog in need?

The poverty in Romania makes it almost impossible to find local foster homes for dogs. Very few ROLDA dogs get adopted by Romanians because they cannot afford to (even temporarily).
That is why we depend on international supporters that have the available resources to be a dog foster parent.

700 dogs are waiting for their forever home … but millions more are waiting to be rescued. If we can’t make room in our shelters, homeless dogs in Romania will continue to suffer and die.

You can change this!
